How much hassle/difficulty, and labour time (VAG independent say), would be involved in taking two Fabia vRSes, one with a std clutch and one with an uprated item, and swapping the clutches over?

I would have said approx 3 hrs for a clutch change, so times that by 2, at roughly

Why not just buy a proper car? or find a girlfriend, she will spend your money soon enough, or get a proper hobby?

Yep.

It took a mate four and a half hours to change my clutch & flywheel.

Swapping two clutches over is definately a full day job.

just buy a clutch will you :P , taking one out of one car and putting it in another is just asking for trouble , i know it will be cheaper , but do you need the hassle of taking the boxes back out again because one or the other is slipping

this was genuinely out of sheer curiousity. I'll weigh it up come remap time. Bit of a dilemma as the std may be fine with the extra power/torque. On the other hand it won't, so I'll need an uprated anyway. If that's the case, I'll be annoyed because the map could have been tweaked a bit more with the presence of a clutch that could take a bit more punishment
