New mobile...

How do

I'm going to be needing a new mobile phone in the next month or so but I'm not sure what's best. I would like something as up to date as possible as I tend to keep them quite a while. I was looking at the Nokia N95 but I've heard there are some software problems with them so I'm not too sure now. I currently have a sonyericsson which has been good but the more recent ones don't appeal so much

I want:

Reliability

Gadgets :D

good camera

Bluetooth for car kit

FM radio would be nice

I'm not fussed about 3G as it doesn't work in my area anyway, but I wouldn't reject a phone for being compatible.

Cost is not too much of an issue as I'm on a contract so it will be subsidized by the network to a point.

Any recommendations

ive got about 6 days to go before i can renew with voda

If i can get the n95 for under 20 a month on an 18month i'll ave it

I'm on a k800i at the moment, got that on a 12 month for 15 a month, love it but i cant see anything on the market that has anywhere near the functionality of the n95, when the iphone comes out that u'll be cool but i dont want to wait till then!

Theres no way on earth i'm going over 350 quid for the full contract, max i'll go to is 20 a month on an 18 but id like it for less, i'll let you know how i get on though in a week or so.

ps - some on moneysavingexpert have had it on an 18 month with 15 month half price at 13.50

i'd be lovin that

I have got a blackberry 8800 at the moment, fills most of the requirements apart from the lack of a camera. N95 is probably what your looking for, I would imagine a lot of the bugs have been ironed out now, I think Pitvrs has got an N95 and there was a recent'ish thread about them with some pictures from the camera etc.

I would love an N95, but I like the qwerty keyboard on the blackberry and the BIS push email is a must have for me as all my contracts are sourced and sealed via mail.

SE W880i for me. Nice little phone.

Been looking myself at going contract, found a Nokia 6300 on t-mobile 12 month contract, 600 mins 1200 text combo for free, that is you pay

I've used cash back with the likes of Coolnew Mobile, OneStop Phoneshop etc.

They are ok as long as you keep on top of the claims. If you need claims vouchers make sure you have them.

I have just got myself a SEK810i

So far i have been very impressed. The camera is very good and the phone is well built too.

Go for the N95, you wont be disappointed. just make sure you update the firmware using the Nokia updater.

My one was an early version and gave me nothing but trouble until I updated it. Now im loving it.

A newer handset may already come with the latest firmware.

Dont hesitate, buy one.

I bought an N95 yesterday and can confirm that it is already loaded with the latest firmware. I also think its an excellent phone, has a good camera and enough gadgets including builtin gps receiver to keep me happy.
