This is the new shape 109bhp diesel auto. Classic SE version.

Will probably trade in the VRS and the wifes Smart car, just need something easy for her to drive, safe and reliable, something to carry the whole family round in.

Then get myself either a Karmann Ghia or an early Mark1 Golf and use it for weekends, slam the suspension and get some old skool alloys for it.

Anyone owned an A Class?

The Auto box on the A and B class is a CVT and thus horrible.

I do like the diesel engine though - its no tyre shredder like the VAG PD lumps, but its nice and smooth, and very refined.

I enjoyed the B class diesel manual I had on demo. Very nice quality inside!

I had an A class (petrol) as a courtesy car when the Roadie was in for work - absolutely rubbish! I wouldn't swap a vRS or a Smart for one TBH.
