Featured Replies

Hello  i need to remove my drivers door trim in order to replace my mirror as some **** decided to rip it off,i hope that they receive their just deserts, other than the visable torx(star)screws are there any other hidden ones i should know about.

You mean the door trim rather than door skin I take it.

You have to take the door pull off as well and there are two phillps screws behind that.

Slide the plastic trim out from the reverse side of the door pull, remove the switch block (it clips in) and you can get at the screws that Lummox mentioned. Pull the upper speaker grille off and disconnect the speaker, the plastic lugs are prone to breaking, pull off the mirror switch with its' surround and there is a screw behind that. The trim panel will need to be pulled upwards out of the window channel and they can be tight, a long piece of wood and hammer will get it started. Be careful of the lock LED and the release handle cable just un hooks, they can fall off as you are re-fitting the panel so check it before you have got it all back together.
