Octavi vRS Estate Owners

Featured Replies

Hi Octavia vRS estate owners.

Could someone confirm whether the rear central belt is a proper belt rather than a lap belt please?

Also, does anyone have a dog cage in their boot? If so, what size fits?

Also, does the false floor bit for hiding things come out so you get more boot height??

Many thanks.

you can remove the top part of the false floor quite easily and you are then left with the supports for the floor still there, if you remove them you are left with bare metal in the boot.

My parent's have a dog cage in their octi estate, I dont know what size it is but it has togo in folded down then built up once in the boot as the boot opening isn't big enough for it to just slide in.

in my 04 vrs estate the middle belt is a full 3 point seat belt

Ok, it's an Elegance, but mine (52) has 3-point belts all round, and should have a central rear head restraint (but I wanted the extra clear vision).

Thanks guys. Yes, I saw a TDI elegance with 3 belts in the back but wondered whether the vRS was the same.

Good advice on the dog cage. Hoping there is still room for pushchair etc once the cage is in.

Yup 3 point in my vRS. Re dog cage. I have two labs and just have an OEM dog guard. Although I'm thinking of a cage as well..... may have to make one though as I can't thind any decent ones that fit.

I suppose finding one large enough for 2 dogs and will fit is tricky.

I have 1 border collie who malts a lot and is 'enthusiastic' yet mentally challenged lol. Didn't want him getting fur and slobber over the pushchairs.

Yeah we have to put our luggage on the back seats when we take the dogs anywhere. Can be a hassle.

One thing you could do it put some kind or partition up in the boot splitting it in two width ways ?
