lack of power -help

Featured Replies

I was looking at a Fabia Vrs last night and after having driven it I felt it had no pull/very flat until 2500 up-wards ,it did feel like the turbo was working though . It wouldn't pull from 2000rpm in 4th ,you had to drop to 3rd to get it going. Could it be the maf sensor on the way out ? Air leak somewhere ? It was an earlier 04 plate with the "tall box" fitted

Any ideas please ?

Cheers ,Garry

Hi Gary

Mmmm I would get the MAF checked first mate , and check over the pipes , see if any have popped off

Good luck

Could be a sticking VNT mech on the turbo.... i sometimes have the problem when the car is cold.. nothing until 2500 then it kicks in full boost.
