Hi all,

Looking to purchase a Fabia vRS in the near future, as test drove one at the weekend, and loved it!!

Seen one I like (the test driven one) but not completely sure, on one or two bits on it (the rear bumper has a little "nick" in the center, where a tow bar hook-up is (without there being a tow bar) and i dont know if i like it!

It is an 04 plate with 49500 miles (so barely run in) and up for a good price imo!

Is there anything I should look for, cam belt, noises etc or is everything all good on them?

On a personal level, I am 20 from Norfolk and currently drive a Ford Fiesta Zetec-S, but after a change to something comfortable, quicker, and more economical! :)

so erm...hello! and hope you all can help!!

welcome to briskoda....

the '04 would want a cambelt at 4 years old or 60k.... If I was you, I'd try and get it done in the deal, will save you lots of money...

things to look for, leaking door seals, knocking noises over bumps (suspension is prone to wear out, drop links/ARB's controls arm bushes ect)

try booting it in 6th at 1500 revs to see if the clutch slips (if it does, get a new one in the deal before you buy)

otherwise, should be all good :)
