Anybody heard of this internet car buying company wewillbuyyourcar.com?

My sister is trying to sell her Audi A3 and has 'almost' sold it to these. Anyone had any dealings?

Tom

Did she loose alot of money on its actaul value though ?

Companies that offer to do the same for your house often only pay 70-80% of market value - so if it's the same for cars, that's much worse than part ex!

I've heard of them. I got a quote for the my Ibiza but the price wasn't brilliant and I ended up selling it privately for about

...Cue mass exodus to wewillbuyyourcar.com!

I got offered about a grand less than What Car? reckoned I could get for part ex on mine - that's getting on for two grand less than its estimated private sale value. I guess that's how they make their money, but if you really can't shift your car privately, and won't be buying another from a dealer to part ex, I guess it's better than nothing...

Seem to be reputable enough (as far as the used car trade goes, I guess!) but I suggest if your sister's concerned, she has a trawl though Google as well as there are plenty of websites / pages mentioning them...

Had to do my car in that website and got offered:

Just did my '06 Octy vRS, standard, 10000 miles, not a spot on it, and 'webuyanycar.com' offered me

Got mine valued and it would seem that they would offer me a realistic px price (another

That site was about a grand shy of what SWMBO sold her car for.

The dealer offered 2 grand less than what it went for privately.

Still, a grand short is miles better than being short of the full value when some bugger rips you off with a scam.

When her car was in the classified she was getting daily emails from people offering to buy the car and that a shipping company would pay the final balance.

Yeah right!
