4th custom gauge is going in

Featured Replies

The digital oil pressure gauge is currently being installed. Going in a similar place as the other 3 went, only on the driver's side. This is a VEIsystems (VEI Systems -- Intelligent Vehicle Instrumentation) gauge and it is sexy as ****

Just need to get a T-piece from a local merchant to T off the oil pressure switch now. :)

You're not wrong.....I'm getting wood just thinking about it.

Soirry, this is Jason (devonutopia) by the way. The garage my car is in has it's own account! The gauge is in and powered up now, but it turns out the 1/8" feed for the oil switch is a different thread to the standard BSP, so I've had to order a tee with 3 female ends and a double ended male bit so I can still have the switch and the feed for my gauge as well. :)

fancy taking some pics of sensors & the install :)

Where'd you buy it from?

Ah ok, wasn't sure if you used a uk supplier.

Ah, nope. They take paypal, so I was able to pay them using that. Worked out really cheap as well - I got the EGT gauge the same way. The only thing though, was that he wouldn't send a trans-atlantic package at an under-value delcaration, so I have a contact on TDIclub who is my go-between and sends the odd bit to me when needed. :D My EGT gauge came across to me as a $20 bbq thermometer. US-UK postal system seems reliable so I took a calculated risk on sending stuff this way. :)

PS: I would consider a group buy for EGT/Oil pressure/Boost from them if the demand was there. It works out a lot less than UK prices due to the favourable exchange rate at the moment. ;)
