OK Hope this works: If not just ignore me...

Trying to set up a poll of who had / not had problem with Fabia TDi / VRS Stutter problem ?

1 = No problem

2 = Experienced Stutter, but not an issue to me

3 = Experienced Stutter, and Dealer fix of 14.5mm EGR worked

4 = Experienced Stutter, and resolved by other means

 not the stutter again :o

:D

Mine does do it but I don't really drive in a way that it shows itself, as I've said before, if you know it's there just drive accordingly to avoid it. Now I've got a few miles on it, it seems to happen a lot less anyway.

Surely you've missed an option for those people who have the stutter but who have not had the problem resovled? Without that option, what are you going to learn?

I've gone for option 2 experienced but not an issue........ That is until the last month......

I'll explain......... The above poll option is correct on the whole as i've had the car just over a year and have noticed the hesitation a few times but nothing to spoil the driving experience. Whether it's because probably 70-80% of my driving is 70-90mph motorway driving that i don't notice it as much is open to debate.

I have though noticed it a few more times this last couple of months since the mrs bought her 05 plate vRS..... Now whether it's just me noticing it more cos the other car never does it or whether it's suddenly got a little worse recently i don't know..... I'd edge towards the first of the two myself.

Anyways if i keep noticing it more over the next couple of months then i might just go for the dealer fix with it not being a massively noticeable thing in my case.

Cheers

Dave.

Sorry but I don't seem to be able to go back in and add another option, but if the owners/runners of Briskoda can go in and add this option then please do....

well done option 2 people, I'm proud!

It's become less important to me, and I mostly drive round it. It bugs me a little when a get a huge misfire after a gentle gear change though.

Why has this behaviour been labeled a 'hesitation' surely it's a blatant misfire?!

I'll put the 9mm on at the end of warranty I think.

Agreed. You can drive round the stutter. I just try to keep the revs above 2k. Better for DMF too.
