Im trying to enable the 2nd fog light, there is a bulb already in there, i have activated it by ticking the correct box, but still nothing. any ideas?

Another thing is i dont have tunnel lighting, but can i activate the lights so they come on when the car is locked and unlocked?

the second foglight you wont be able to enable if you bought the car after march this year. I had the same problem on mine. Neither the Skoda/VW nor VRStu could get it to work even though the option was enabled with VAGCOM. In the end i had to have mine re-wired so that while im here in germany i have the passenger side one lit and when im back in the uk i disconnect it and plug it back into the drivers side one.

As for the lights on when locking unlocking i dont have a scooby doo

You may be able to have the lights come on when you unlock but not when you lock it.

I have done it on a couple of cars. As Carl says above, it may depend on the controller version fitted.

With the coming home/leaving home lights activated - the lights on when you lock the car is not active if the light switch is off when leaving and locking the car (basically you need to leave the lights on when you turn off the car and exit it)

i now have the coming home light activated cant get them to come on on return but they stay on for a minute or two when i leave the vehicle. still cannot get 2nd fog done :(

Yes if you have light assist.

but mine doesnt have the skoda light kit, just trying to operate it from the vag com (and half way there).

I know and that's why I said it. Without light assist you can get half of it working, as you have.

Thats the leaving home, but it only comes on when it is dark enough.
