A simple question from a potential owner...

Featured Replies

I've already searched so have a good idea of the answer... however..

I have the choice of two cars, both similar in spec/miles/age etc etc etc.... the main difference is....

One has xenons

One has leather

Both are the factory fit options. What to do?!

The xenons are currently winning, only issue is the car is silver. I'm really after black or red... ho hum.

leather every time, cheaper to fit zenons than fit leather so no brainer!!!! plus the standard interior wears very badly indeed. costs approx

Leather was never a factory option. It is a dealer retrofit option or many cars have been done by thrid party companies.

Xenon headlights would have been a factory option.

Defo xennons! Leather doesn't suit cheap cars and the factory leather isn't that good quality.....

Ahem, would appear that they're factory fit xenons and retro fit leather then ;)

Oh, the one with xenons has a remap too but unsure on who has done it.... was organised by the dealership which sort of worries me as I realise some are a bit harsh in low revs...

Will be wanting to add 312mm brakes, intake, rear arb, front strut and possibly springs/coilovers too....

I'm quite new to all this :D

Retro fit Xenons are no longer legal.

As in the HID kits you can buy?

Yeah, pretty much. There was a thread about them on here about 2-3 weeks ago.

I know a way to get the car you want and save you a lot of time and money...

You can't blame me for trying

If I wasnt looking into Decron's offer I would get the Xenons. Much easier and cheaper to get leather fitted than to retro fit a Fabia with factory Xenons.

Totally agree :)
