Alloys fitted. To lower or not to lower?

Featured Replies

Right then, the alloys have now been fitted (Golf MkIII Cabrio ones - 57.1mm bore 4 x 100 with 45mm offset) and the coar looks nicer. Now I have to decide if I go the route of lowering the car a smidge. What do you think?

i think it looks tres cool

Looks ok from that angle.

Do you have one from directly side on?

They look better on the Feli than they did on the car they came off :)

did you get them for 150 quid or manage to knock some off?

ps. i've got a matching dent in my rear door, they must be really thin

Incidently was the pic of the Jetta a library picture?

must be quite rare, i've never seen a 3 door before

They look great. I would just leave the way they are unless you need better handling. :)

I also have a matching dent although on other side! Yours is certainly in better nick bodywise than mine. Mind you mine did cost next to nowt

:P

OK then - which springs and how much? I don't want to spend a fortune. How easy are they to fit if you own a set of spring compressors?

Those allows look very similar to the standar felicia ones!!

Although slightly bigger...

look at the felicia file, and go down to suspension. looks like the options are, just the springs (thats how i'm running mine at the mow) or the HP set (thats what i'm trying to get now)
