hello everybody,

I'm after a bit of advice. i'm thinking of purchasing a fabia vrs and was wondering are there any main concerns to look out for?

Also this may sound stupid but looking at the spec of a vrs on parkers.co.uk it says that the vrs has only a 2 speed wiper? is this true?

thanks

Hi there and welcome to the site.

If you do a search for this you'll find a whole host of results. :)

Door leaks and clunking suspension are the main ones.

Hello and welcome.

The vRS is a great car and now it has ceased production has become sought after.

The wipers are two speed plus variable intermittant IIRC.

Check the rear floor for dampness is a hot topic at the moment.

Also the usual well looked after and full history is a must.

yup - the wipers have two speed plus variable intermittent which has four different time settings.

vRS is a great car. I've only have mine 6 weeks and have two probs. 1 is the wipers juddering. 2 The gearstick/box/linkage rattles when it idles in neutral - v annoying but to be sorted when it goes in for its 10k service.

If u get one u won't regret it.

Welcome to Briskoda

I've seen the new fix for the rattling gear lever - It looked a little agricultural.
