Another How much is it worth thread

Featured Replies

As per title, I'm thinking of selling my Edition 100 PD130 Manual.

I know how much the stealers would give me, but unsure what it would be worth as a private sale.

It was registered in Oct 05, so it's a 55reg and has done 28700 miles and is standard apart from the Eibach Suspension. It's had one service at Skoda at 15k miles.

The only thing "wrong" with it, is that I'm the third owner. 1st owner was Skoda, then 2nd owner only had it about 2 months. I've had it since May 2006. I want to get something far more powerful like a Saab 9-5 Aero. I know I could upgrade the car to 185BHP, but don't want to void the warranty.

How much do you think it's worth as a private sale? I'm not one for trying to get the absolute best price - usually more concerned with a quick sale so I can move on.

And i have to say "yuk" to the Vau, sorry SAAB, too! Watch the paint come off the interior like you soaked it in Nitromors, seats collapsing, gearbox and wheel bearing failures and numerous electrical issues! Never been the same since GM took them over....

My dad has the 9-5 3.0 Diesel Vector...I personaly don't like it, very wallowy round corners, dosen't feel as nice inside compared to my superb!

I've already had a 9-5 and preferred it to the Superb. Not keen on the maintenance costs, but definately a more comfortable car than either of the Superbs I've had. The 9-5 Aero is just an example - just want something of that size which is pretty quick and not too bad on the juice.

Wouldn't mind a 2.8V6 Superb, but they're not that quick (for the size of the engine). Bloomin' rare too!

Well, to give you some idea, I was the only bidder on my new one-owner December 2005, 55-plate 1.9TDi Edition 100 (AUTO) on ebay back in May... and I paid
