Help Finding A 12v Switched Live Wire

Featured Replies

Hopefully someone can help me out here, i have a Snooper and i want to hardwire it in to my octy RS like i hade in my previous car.

The only problem i seen to be having is finding a 12v Switched Live which is powered by the ignition. I can find loads of permanent lives but no switched ones.

Please help before i end up stripping the dash completely!!!! lol

Cheers

Have you looked at the fuse panel for a spare location?

i was trying to keep the wires running behind the glovebox and to the passenger side of the car, but if thats not poss then i'll attack the fuse box.

cheers for the help, i'll have a look at it again tomorrow

^^Yup, what they said, it's what I've used in mine.

Light swicth maybe it's easy to remove

I picked of the back of the head unit for my talex but if you haven't changed the oem one that may not be an option!

Wouldn't recommend that for anything other than a low current draw though!!!
