Had Car Detailed by Finer Details

Here is the report supplied by Iain

Sorry no before pics - whole host of excuses- none of which you will want to

hear.

the main concern for the customer was the interior - "its minging" he said

on the phone. So, thats where I started. A damn good vac out, making sure

to get into all the small areas, under the seats, centre console etc.

this was then followed by the floor mats being cleaning with 1001 and an

upholstery brush. my new extractor should be here tomorrow, so hopefully

wont have to keep working by hand.

All hard plastics were then cleaned with Interior cleaner, before the seats

got cleaned. The glass was cleaned with Stoners invisble Glass. Inner door

shuts were cleaned with DP Booster spray.

With the interior finished I started on the outside. Wheels first. A good

PW rinsing, followed by a healthy spray of Pinnacle Wheel gel. Cleaned the

inners with the EZ detail brush, front edges with a wheel sponge. Following

a good rinse I then snow foamed the car before using a lambswool wash mitt

and the Pinnacle Bucket with grit guard. Rinsed and then dried with a Cobra

Guzzler Drying towel.

The car then had a layer of DW Wet Wet Wet wax, tyres dressed with

Highstyle.

Iain has taken some pics but the links do not seem to be working.

I will edit and add as soon as possible

I am really pleased with the results

I would recommend Iain if like me you are short of time to do your own car:thumbup:

sorry all but it is not fair of me to post the price for my car but if you go to Welcome to Finer Details Ltd there is a price list on the site which will give you some idea

Excellent work as usual.

Being a detailing world fan it will be nice to see a real car on there when i next visit :D

Good result! Why does race blue not show the orange peel effect so much?

I think it does, just gotta look closer!

You could be right but black is a bugger for it :(

Iain did a detail on my car last year and it was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

As for prices, as Iain told me at the time, it depends on what you want doing, levels of correction/protection etc. If you're interested, give him a call, discuss what you want and he'll give you a better idea on the price.

Looks good... im considering giving them a call to see if they can do out for my seats and interior... theres no point me getting the exterior done until ive got the bodywork repaired

Very nice , thats the 1st time Ive saw the inside of a Mk2 vRS , I like it!
