Ipod Interface

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've just bought an iPod interface kit from my local Seat dealer for my Fabia vRS. The chap behind the counter assured me it would work with my headunit (Phoned Skoda dealer to check) so I thought all good.

However I get it home and find out it has the Quadlock connector and not the Mini ISO I now need, is there an adapter I could get or am I better off taking the bloody thing back?

By the way don't ask Halfords for a head-unit key for Skoda, they gave me the wrong one, the stupid thing didn't fit!

Take it back, they are different part numbers.

As for headunit keys you want the long flat kenwood ones.

Cheers guys, Think i'll be heading back down in the morning, hope there isn't a problem getting a refund/swapping it. As for the keys i got the kenwood ones, worked a treat.

Nice one

i used a snapped junior hacksaw blade poked them in the holes removed the heater cover and side trims and uncliped the radio out that way. i also drilled a hole in the tray underneath the radio for the ipod as i felt it looked better in there than the glovebox.
