Need some bigger front brakes or what bigger brake from what car can fit, and how can i proform a rear brakes conversion for my felicia and where can i get the parts from and estimation of the price.icon5.gif

Nothing bolts on up front from anything else without custom brackets or modification.

I think Polo rears can be adapted to fit, but doesnt bolt straight up.

indeed the polo rear discs can be fitted but you need to machine up an adaptor plate to match up the stud patterns of the rear stub axles.... it just so happens that i may have the dimensions of the required plate here :D

on the front i'v got a set of zerosixty groved and dimpled discs, with ebc green stuff pads. thats all you need, trust me thats all you need!!!!

Hi

They was the sexy discs Mmmm

Are they still good?

I agree with you , if you get some good discs and pads , should be OK

But not a big fan of the Green Stuff , be aware that all the Green Stuff pads have warped the discs

But yes lovely discs

Sarah

I've heard that about Green Stuff too, from a number of sources.

humm, will have to check that out.

yes i am still running the zerosixtys, and they do a dam good job.

as for the greenstuff pads, once there hot, there insane. but when cold there like having blocks of ice for pads.

i did have a can drawing of the plate on my laptop but i appear to have deleted it, in my opinion the best rear disc set up to use is from the 6n2 polo (2000-2002), they all had rear discs including the base 1000cc models... it's also possible to use the vw lupo ones too but they are slightly different

you need the stud axle, brake caliper/carrier, wheel bearings (2x each side) a new nut, discs, hoses, plus you need to find some longer hand brake cables than the standard felicia ones.... if you click the link in my signature, i will be doing documenting this conversion in that thread sometime in the near future, plus there is a 4 pot big disc conversion brewing too:)

edit: oh yeah, you need the brake pads too :D
