Performance filter for 2.0 FSI non turbo

Featured Replies

Im after a performance filter for my 2.0 fsi sport (no turbo) below is a picture of it, its same as some audi A4's and is like a cylinder shape not flat panel (like the vrs's use).

Just wondered if there is any available out there or am i stuck with a OEM filter?

What kind of performance benefit would be expected from doing this? (I have a 2.0FSI)

Any chance you can downsize your picture; even with 8MB broadband it took what seemed to be an age to show.

Generally a replacement 'panel' filter will give only a couple of bhp, but mostly the gain is in sharper throttle response.

Having read various test reports in the past the main area that K&N filters are good on, apart from improved 'breathing', is in their filtration being very effective. Foam filters 'breath' well but have less effective filtration.

K&N is fine  , Green Cotton also have a good reputation which might be worth looking at but I cant see any reference to the 2.0 FSI!
