I haven't done S3 seats but I've done Golf Recaros and R32 Konigs. As far as bolting them in they're identical. The electrical connections are a little more complicated:

Airbag connecotrs won't matter as you don't have them in the vRS. The electrical adjusters is just a power supply so faitly straight forward. The heated seat elements are more difficult especially if you want to use the octy switch. If you are willing to use Golf switches though it's not too difficult as retro fit wiring looms are available.

good stuff. may i ask how much you paid roughly for the seats? and could you post a few pics of the final result please?
