Just got a shock! Was charged

If you ran a search you'd find the information out!

Just rung FR Pulleyn for 10,000 mile service, got quoted

Did they perform an annual 10k service or a lube 10k service?

Chris

Mine was just a lube iirc as it was only 7 months old....

 sorry we charge

Yeah, that seems too high. Even Nottingham Farmers (who I don't like) cost around

DM Keith Leeds charged me

Yeah, I'd expect it to cost

LMFAO about Pulleyns. That tumbleweedesque moment is a regular thing there.

The people on the desk aren't the sharpest tools in the box and wanted me to wait 3 weeks before they'd sort my knackered leaking EGR valve. Keiths in Leeds did it the next day.

The 10k service is only a lube so should be quite cheap. Oil and filter plus labour. I wouldn't expect it to be as expensive as it is. Take it to a non Skoda garage and have them do it. Your warranty will be fine providing they use pukka parts and oil and stamp the book.

The 20k is a bit steeper as it includes an inspection I think......40k is even more as it's filters too. Then there's 60k.......cambelt. Ouch.......

This is all a bit mirky. You need to have an annual inspection every year. Now, because most Fabia drivers only do 10k a year, it's usually lumped in with the 10k service which is why it costs ~

Hmmm......good point. So if you're doing higher mileage and do 20k or something in your first year, the first lube service would be cheap but then after 12 months of ownership you'd need an inspection which is where the
