Trying to connect to vagcom after a APR remap and it says "controller not responding" when I try and diagnose the engine....

It seems to pick up a bit of info... but nothing else.

Can remaps / software mess this up? :thumbdwn:

Have you the engine turned on? Sometimes controllers don't respond when the engine isn't turned on and also if the wron controller is picked (i.e. controller doesn't exist)

Try doing an auto-scan and see what it picks up

You should be able to log in ok. I'm assuming you have the ignition on.

Might be worth disconnecting the battery for a bit and force a reset on it. Remember and do a TBA afterwoods.

It def used to work with just the ignition on 2 clicks, I suppose I could try it with the engine on.

What would disconnecting the battery do mate? Also whats TBA?
