Will VW cupholders designed for the Golf MK4 fit the Fabia?

the din pocket ones will fit under the standard headunit. but IIRC the ones in the golf sit above the headunit din slot :confused:

Would be better with the din pocket type ones thing they are fitted to seats?

This is the type from the Seat Arosa that fits:

I went for the Skoda one in the end myself though, as I didn't want to lose my little cubby hole.

What about the flip down ones that can be fitted in the vertical slots either side of the headunit? Does anyone know where the best place is to order those from?

If you're going to fit the flip-out cupholder, be aware that many aftermarket head units stand proud of the fascia to the extent that they foul the cupholder as it pops out, rendering it useless. OK with the OEM HU though.

I was a bit dissapointed that my VRS SE didn't have these...

Why? Will they both go opposite ways and therefore hit each other or something?

I was looking at getting the one that sits by the side of the HU but it looked flimsy and as I have a non standard HU I didn't want it to foul.

There is no slot for one on the driver's side.

I don't think there is the clearance for the LHD one.
