Can anybody suggest a cause with this list of symptoms?

similar to one we had a faulty distributor

Could probably do with a throttle body clean and maybe a new coolant temperature sensor.

iirc this engine does not have a crank sensor, it has a cam sensor instead.. sometimes a little oil leaks past the o-ring on the back of the camshaft ans plays havoc with the sensor
