Phoned Skoda and u cant get them, any ideas where i could get hold of one?

Cheers.

A little confused - Do you want a part for a Skoda or do you want a Skoda part to put into your Golf?

I would ask your Skoda dealer for a quote on 1U0 881 375 P if it's for an Octavia RS.

I have the seats in my Golf and its the bottom side bolster part, its either hard to explain or i am a complete retard...Lol.

So its a Skoda part (obviously)

I phoned Skoda and they said you can only buy the full bottom part of the seat for

Perhaps I am the complete retard then as it isn't obviously clear to me.

I'm assuming you are saying you have Octy vRS seats in a MK4 Golf. Your dealer is correct the bolsters aren't a seperate item. The number I gave you is for the base.

My information tells me that they are a little cheaper than

I would buy a pair at that price!

You got any details on where to get them buddy? Would be muchly appreciated!

Skoda main dealer.

If they are quoting you that price now then I would suggest that my info is wrong.

Try a couple of dealers.

I bought one. it was around

How easy is it to change?

Easy enough. It's a bit awkward but not difficult. Seat out (2 min job), plastic trim removed, unclip the leather all the way around and withdraw it (still attached to the foam). Unclip the seat cover from the metal bars which are molded into the foam (a bit awkward) and then clip it onto the new foam and clip the leather back in all the way around (makes your thumbs hurt!) replace trim and refit seat.

I had to swap the heater element over too but that just involves pealing it off the old foam and gluing it to the new one.
