No mention of brown, and unfortunately it doesn't show samples of all of them.

Anyone got an idea what Gobi Braun is? Thats the only one I can see that may be a possibility.

I'd agree with Sarah though, looks like it might be a badly-lit Mulberry Red rather than a brown...

Thanks for all the replies have had a look on DVLA website and registered colour is Brown.

May have a look at the car latter and try to look at paint sticker

Have never seen an Octavia in this colour before.

Only thing that puts me off this car is does not seem to have aircon, which I really appreciated on a commute of between 30 minutes to 70 minutes.

The very early Octavias' imported didn't have aircon but had a sunroof, from the picture that looks to be the case. Mine is an early T reg (1999) and has aircon.

On the early cars . LX , GLX and SLX`s the lower model (LX) didnt come with AC

But there was a few imports as has been said

I will bet my bottom dollar (and my top) that it is Mullbery , as I thought myself that it was a stunning looking colour

But it is not buffed

Buy it , buff it and watch me drool :drool:

BTW just for info if it's an import it will have a differant dash to other mk1's, we had a 1996 LHD used as a test mule for years at work...never went wrong:)

What are the differences with the dashs and are there any other differences on the imports? hopefully extra equipment:)
