I have to finish it - coat of wax and the wheels to do - got called to work, but other than that i`m well impressed.

Looking good,

It's amazing when paint feels like glass!

Which wax are you planning on using?

I would recommend Collinite 915 I had it on my 51 plate rally red Octy Vrs before i sold it and it was amazing stuff, I used Megs Gold Class wax to get more oils in first then finished it off with the collinite!

Just make sure you finish it pronto, as your paint's got no protection on it now :)

Good results, and agree with the Collinite suggestion. Personally, I'd use two coats of 476, then a coat of 915. That's what I'll be doing at some point over the weekend on mine, with a bit of luck...

Cheers,

Steve

Yeah, what Wardy said. Get that wax on ASAP :)

Wouldn't want some of your local seaguls messing up that lovely finish :P

Also that fact that the longer it's left, the more time more airbourne contaminents have to bond to the paint again

And that will be easier, because the paint's completely bare. So you'd need to start again with the clay process, before polishing (optional but recommended) and finally waxing.
