Welcome to Briskoda.

Really hard to say, loads of mappers out there and dependant on what you want to spend.

Use the search and have a read, im sure you question will be answered there.

There are so many, but Jabba has a good reputation

There are many on here with a good reputation but the cheapest of those is Angel Tuning and they come to you so no hassle and they only take half an hour and they dont need you to have a garage, they can do it on the roadside, they gave me an extra 50bhp for

I can reccomend Chipboost, it is a generic remap but is perfect as it makes the motor smoother and 170 is enough for me, I have done 5000 miles since fitting and no problems at all, Just south of Scarborough and

Depending on what mods you do, you may want to look a custom remap instead of the generic ones.

I can give another reccomendation to Angel....

mac: you're comming to the Keswick meet aren't you? will be interesting to compare the remapped PD130 and the remapped 1.9 Mjet........ :)

Im in a group buy at the moment on VWAUDIFORUM.

Yep, I can give you another Angel Tuning remap recommendation x2 here as well ! :)

yeah, I did that with my map, organised on the fiat forum, we all met at a retail park carpark in central UK (leeds'ish ) and got them for about that price

Does it all have to be by done one tuner and at the same time?

Edit: to answer my own question, yes it does! :D

Not always, as long as they have the numbers, some mapper will let you do it on an arranged date. As the latest Jabba remapping group buy on here IIRC.

Anyone mentioned ChippedUK in Bromsgrove?

I believe their price ( for mk4 VW Club members ) is

If any of you chaps are in the South Brum area, I can heartily recommend ChippedUK in Bromsgrove.

My PD100 + PD160 intake really flies thanks to their remap - apparently each map is written on the premises?
