Fabia badges

Featured Replies

Just off to pickup my new fabia Vrs  can't wait!

The first thing I want to change is the fabia badge on the back. Whats the best way to remove the "F A B I A" lettering on the back of the car?

Cheers Stuart

hair dryer. Heat the up till it starts getting warm. Then you will be able to peal it off. It does get warm. I then used white spirits to remove the rest of the glue. This is what i done when i took my vrs badge of to fit my new smaller one.

Fishing line used in a sawing motion behind the letters works well. Clean up residue with WD40 or "sticky stuff remover"

Heating the area gentle as above helps too.

Reminds me, Matt... about time I gave the car some fishing line treatment! ;)
