My 56 plate vrs has gone in the garage today to try and sort out a low moaning noise coming from the near side rear wheel. I've just been phoned by the garage (Benfield in Newcastle) and they say its the rear pads rusting up, and they need to be stripped and cleaned. update, just walked up the road to the garage at lunchtime, to find they had already done the work and weren't going to charge me for it!

Well pleased, but seems a bit bizarre they would just change their mind. Do they read this forum? :)

I took mine to the dealer when this happened, it was happening mainly on reversing.

they did it under warranty about a month-ish ago, and mine runs out of warranty in a month or two.
