Hey All

Does any one get a beeping noise when braking or braking coming to a stop ?? it's very very faint and you can just make it out

I've noticed that after heavy braking...I have always assumed it's something to do with the ABS i.e. The computer checking if a wheel is about to lock up and getting ready to release the brakes...

It used to be very noticable on '80s Granada's when it was applying ABS braking.

Could it be the wear indicators?

i have read things about that but not seen any lights flashing or coming on my dash :confused:

I thought that was an Octavia II feature.

I get it too, i wouldn't worry about it, as long as the brakes work.

Wont be wear indicators on the Fabia (doesnt have them)

Does sound like the ABS pump charging.

Mine does this too.

Has done since the day i picked it up. Think it's not uncommon.

Off topic but sort of related. I leased a Peugeot 207 that put the hazard lights on when breaking hard. Due to my quite agressive driving style they were comming on at most junctions! lol
