I have just acquired a skoda felicia LxI and it's in great condition BUT although it idles well when i take it on the road the engine keps cutting out for no apparent reason. I have no experience with skoda - is this a common fault and if so what could it be ? Any help mucho appreciated.

i have a 96 laurin & klement model 1.3l and had the same problem, found out that it was water getting in. i changed spark plugs and leads, gave it a spray with some water dispersant @ plugs, leads, and dizzy cap and never had a problem since.
