Lights pointing too low

Featured Replies

hi briskodians, my Octi MKI points the lights too down, I moved the regulation wheel ot the upeer position but on highway and avs. the ligth points too down, maybe i need to regulate by hand on the engine bay, is this possible?

Are any bolts for regulating the angle of the ligths on the engine bay?

Thanks

SV

Sorry about the delay: I had to check the manual before I could answer. Yes, there are normal mechanical adjusters for the headlight alignment on the Octy. However about all the manual says beyond that is "leave it to your dealer, cos it needs optical beam alignment equipment".

Park up against a garage or wall at night and have a 'mess about'.

Usually worked for me.

Worked for me too, back in the days when you had proper lenses, and not clear shields with the beam focus being provided solely by the reflector.

what i did when rebuilding fron of my old car was park similar height car near garage put tape on upper levels of beam then parked my car in same spot and adjusted to suit. not perfect by any stretch but did the job fine for me.
