I have a 2002 1.9 TDI 110 MK1 Elegance, just curious to which other cars use this engine, I have been told that my engine would have been what was in an Audi and Passat from the late nineties.

I assumed it is a stock TDI engine which is used in lots of other cars by Audi and VW just with different 'flavours', add-on etc.

There have been plenty of versions of the 1.9tdi and the 110 bhp type is a couple of generations old now but still a good engine.

It was used in the Seat Toledo and Leon for a while , the Passat (replaced by the 100 and 130bhp versions) , the Golf , Bora , A4 , Alhambra/Sharan and probably a few others.

But the passat version is mounted the other way
