*********induction kits - how good?*******

Featured Replies

induction kits,

do they do much without other mods and more important, they seem to range from

i have the BMC CDA on mine which retails at about

Got a flea bay alloy pipe with a k&n filter on the end. Came to just over

thats only because they have suffered with knackered MAF's due to the oil.

i just went with a green panel filter and while i might have got 1-2bhp more (if i was lucky) i did notice that it was easier to revo over 5500rpm so was worth the money IMO

I went for a carbonio because of the good read ups on here.

I was only after the noise, not the gains.

Mmm

I must admit I would do the Carbonio if they did them for mine

The sound of them are FANTASTIC!!!! truely "Awesome"

With the CAI`s the filters are at the bottom so will get the cool air going in it

The Induction kits have filters inside the engine bay , but ducting is piped on to the filter

That is the differences between them

BHP gains will be slight , but throttle response is the main gain

I have the PD160 intake on my PD100 Fabia the response was extreamly good
