Anyone know of a fix for a rattling handbrake button, or whether it can be replaced?? its driving me mad. The only cure i know so far is to drive with my thumb holding the button to stop it rattling. PLEASE HELP!!

If it's under warranty your dealer might replace it...

Either that or a spot of blue-tac perhaps? (As long as it doesn't stop you using the handbrake as intended!!)

Get it fixed under warranty by your dealer. It is a critical safety item and you wouldn't want it to fail when parked on a hill.

Finally got it fixed - dealer replaced complete handbrake lever assembly, no questions asked... also replaced throttle body assembly as car was very hesitant & juddery, but everyone i've spoken to seems to think the problem is a coil prob??? seems ok at the moment, so fingers crossed....

Even if it does turn out to be a coilpack, you've 'won' a new throttle body which can't be a bad thing.
