What are is consumption of this car?

the engine is the 1.3 mpi.

Is this an old engine?

Reliabilty of this engine?

Bugs of the car?

Cheers

Engine should be reliable and quite surprising power for the size of the car.

WoodieGuthrie was working on a felicia buying guide which is probably just the sort of thing you're looking for, here's the thread.

There was also some mention about the seats actually being removable in the Felicia, they are in the Favorit so I think they will be. This will increase the rear load substantially (if it isn't already big enough).

Rear seats are readily removable in the Felicia Hatch so should be the same in the Estate.

nice car, get it

Engines are old but very, very strong, reliable and fuel efficient (40+ mpg easy).Gearbox also should not give any problems either, the only known problem due to lack of maintenance is the linkcage under the gearlever under car which become very stiff if not greased up.Rear seats come out very easily by tilting forward in the folding position and un-hitching the lugs on the seat (no tools required).

I went through the statistics of Swedish MOT tests. Fellies doing pretty good, but worse than the average car on:

Felicia's Famous Damper Failure

Steering - worn balljoints

Hydraulic brake system - corroded pipes.

I once saw a Felicia with heavily corroded fuel filling pipe (just below the filling cap). Also, tailgate seems to be subject to corrosion, at least here in Sweden (climate maybe not so harsh in the UK). Strangely enough this seems to be more common in the estate than in the hatchback. Watch out for early signs.

If possible, choose a rainy day for checking the car. Any signs of water in footwells? Then the windscreen rubber seal may need replacement.

But it's a nice car! I'm very satisfied with my Estate 1.6 1998. My wife drives an Octy estate Mk1 and in my opinion the driver's seat of the Felly is more comfortable. With the 1.3 you probably get more mpg and can forget about cambelts. And just think of the following:

all doors lock individually

back of rear seat in stylish perforated Masonite - neat but not flashy

fastest rear window wiper ever seen.

no even the British climate (which is actually the same as yours, CTWMC)

still rusts the tailgate in the estate, its not too bad though!

seats are still removed the same way in the estate as the hatch.

you shoul buy a HB felicia , combis are have lower performans than HB models,

more fuel cost, more money buy low performance .
