Multi Function Display

Its basically the factory fit Sat Nav system - also plays CDs, hooks up to the CD-Changer, connect a GPS and insert the skoda navigation CD and its a sat nav.

Can even be made to work with MP3 players through the AUX port on 07 year build onwards.

Looks fantastic in the car too

You lose the ability to see the parking sensor display and it doesn't play MP3s. The sensors still do the beeps which is more than enough indication (use the mirrors for the visual part ;) )

Are there any additional connections on the back VGA etc?

There is a media connector. You can put pretty much any video or audio through it with an interface.

One of these is what you want for an MFD2, I have one and the video quality is pretty darned good as it goes. I had a DVD player hooked up to mine but if you get an MP3 player with an A/V out (I have a Zen vision M 60gig) you can play movies on the MFD2 from it as well as your music.
