Full moon

Featured Replies

I got bored last night and noticed the moon was out so ventured into my garden and got a few shots. I've cropped 2 to actual pixel size as the originals just showed lots of black as can be seen in the 3rd.

Thanks for the comments. I'm using a Nikon D50 with a Sigma 70 - 300mm lens at 300mm. I definitely need a new tripod though as mine is so flimsy I had to put it on a timer to take the pics to keep them steady.

Impressed. Never been able to get the exposure right on Moon shots to get the definition on the craters... :(

x cellent pics there m8...

It was all trial and error, I had it on shutter priority set at 100. I'm still not that clued up on all the terminology so just say what I see :D I just took a number of pics till it came right. Time is a great thing when you have nothing to do ;)

Very Nice
