Just came across Briskoda by chance. Had a Skoda for 3 years now - Octavia L&K diesel estate; been great until this year when I've had to replace brake pads & discs, all 4 tyres, probably the cam belt next month and, when I can afford it, the evaporator on the aircon. Still, I realise these are wear & tear items (except maybe the last one) so still a big Skoda fan . Saving for a Superb 2.0 ltr TDi Elegance.

With regard to the 2.0 TDi Superb - have a read of http://www.briskoda.net/forums/superb/superb-2-0-140-bhp-dont-buy-one/63888/ before you buy one. It might not be suitable, particularly depending on the sort of driving you do

Hello everyone I decided to update my 2014 Skoda Octavia to a newer age. First changed the MIB1 to MIB2, and then decided to add a rear view camera (there are other projects on the way like MFK1 to MFK2). I want to tell the story so someone else does not make the same mistakes I did. My Skoda never had a camera, so I bought one from a scrapyard, a 3V0827566N without the wiring harness, it scrapped with the body. I have been looking around for a basic cheap run around - automatic - but witout much success. There is a 2002 Fabia 1.4 16V Classic 5dr forr sale near me. £2700 (which is overpriced I feel) with 66500 miles on the clock and it says 1 previious keeper. Am I mad to be considering a 24 year old car? I just missed out on a 2013 fabia though I was worried about the DSG gearbox. I used to have sometime ago a 2003 Skoda fabia and loved it. Hey guys, I need to keep a 2kg fire extinguisher in my car due to legal requirements in Greece and I’m trying to figure out the best mounting spot. My main concern is securing it properly so it doesn’t rattle or move around while driving. Hello, Can anyone inform me what should be the correct Front Shock Absorbers to Maintain the spec of Rough road (2UB) on a Skoda Octavia Combi II (1Z5) ? Original Shocks Code: 1K0 412 021 KP I Believe current codes should be : 1K0 413 031 EJ or 1K0 413 031 BL (can anyone confirm ?) Im considering Bilstein but it's hard to find the correct part number for Rough Road. If anyone knows the part numbers of SACHS or KYB also please inform. Diameter of shocks housing = 50 mm Best Regards.
