radiator leak i think

Featured Replies

Hi One and all , I have just checked the oil on my Vrs FABIA noticed at the same time a patch of wet on the radiator when you touch its obviously water as if one of the vanes is leaking not noticed it before , i have only 3000 on the mileage car was new when bought , looks like it could be expensive and a bit of a job to do if it is a radiator leak any ideas anyone, it has rained here earlier but if it was that surely it would be all over it, Bit concerned,

How quickly is the coolant level going down? Do you need to top up every day? Every week? Every month? If it's either of the first two, you may want to consider using the much-maligned Radweld (not as risky as people say from what I gather!)

Anything else, and I'd just accept it as One Of Those Things, and top up as required...

Had the car checked this morning, It is not a radiator leak it turns out it is condensation from the air conditioning, Cant fault Mitchells Skoda at Chesire Oaks checked it completely and explained what the water was , Twice they have checked the car now for what i have reported as a possible problem and always been polite obliging and courteous, and issued peace of mind, A credit to themselves and their staff,
