I have a normal Fabia Comfort model - but no light assist! Does anyone know how much offical Skoda parts cost to enable this? Or does anyone know how I can get it done?

I notice in VRStu's sig he mentions light assist?

I did e-mail the manufacturers and they said

Hi Jon

We have not fitted Autolights to a Skoda Fabia before however I have fitted them to a VW Transporter van which has similar electrics to your Skoda and they worked fine. As long as the car has a standard light switch and no can bus at the light switch the product should suit your vehicle. The kit has 4 wires for connection to the lights, they would normally be connected to the light switch one for headlights, one for number plate lights and one each for left and right side lights then the kit needs a negative, positive, and ignition sense to work. The light sensor simply sticks to the windscreen and their is an off and on switch on this so you can enable and disable the system.

I think you are assuming that I have aftermarket Light Assist. I don't it's a factory fit option.
