Braking problem

Featured Replies

when I brake car stops , no problem, but if I brake again soon after, the pedal becomes hard to press down and the brakes barely work.had the brakes done dec. last year but had no problems til now.

Sounds like a problem with the servo, see my other posts

The servo pipes crack at the joins, Skoda did a recall on some of these, get it replaced ASAP.

Agreed; it's a servo or servo pipe issue, leading to you using vacumn way too fast.

When you say you "had the brakes done" do you mean discs, pads, fluid, or all of these?

job sorted, thanks to all.plastic engine cover had vibrated on vacuum pump pipe and made a hole in it.

So that would have been a braking problem then ;)

In my case a braking problem caused a breaking problem :( ;)

 Glad you got it sorted!
