Its all Fitted!!!

Featured Replies

Big thanks to VRSTU for a massive load of work put in to day on my car to fit Bluetooth Cruise Control and Maxi-Dot!!!! Well worth the 400 or so mile round trip to get this all completed. Stu has put in a good load of hours on my car today and I'd like to again express my thanks to him. Absolute top bloke. Also thanks to his Mrs for allowing me to take up so much of his time today.

The bluetooth kit audio component works without maxi-dot installed, but you can't control the phone via the car, or get any messages on the cars display. You really need maxi-dot to make the most out of it........

The clock bin was swapped for a maxi-dot item and its the business. For some reason, the radio demanded its code which I don't have as my dealer didn't supply it to me. Until I get the radio back on I can't use the bluetooth any more!! Off to the dealership tomorrow to get the code soted. But the dash now looks so much better. If your getting an Octy, order the maxi-dot.

The cruise contol is excellent. I already have it in the Leon although this one allows you to reduce speed via the stalk which the Leon (MK1) doesn't.

Also, thanks to Makefish for the drive of his car. I now know how good his mods are first hand and I need all of them fitted to my car! All of them. The lot. Lock stock.:auto:

Great to meet you both and chat in person!

No problem at all. Glad it was a safe albiet quiet journey home.

Hopefully the radio code can be sorted tomorrow and you'll be making calls.

When you get it working can you add your phones to the compatibility thread please.
