Hi today i attempted to remove my crank pulley on my 1.3mpi felicia engine as i was going to fit new timing gears and chain but couldnt get the bolt to shift. the engine rotates in a clockwise direction would i be right thinking that the bolt is anti-clockwise threaded?

Does anyone have any tips to remove the bolt? I only have the use of a good quality socket set and brute force

put car in gear and get someone to press brake pedal so it does not move . the bolt is normal rht

Thats what i did... put in gear and got someone to press real hard on the brake then got a heafty spanner on the bolt and hit it with a mallet to be able to shift it...
