hello all

New member here ( well I suppose I would be being in the "newbie" section!)

I'm 24 living inbetween scunthorpe and grimsby in lincolnshire work as a copper for humberside police (hope I'll still get a good welcome here? :confused: ) and I currently drive a modified but not chavved 306 GTi-6 which I'm looking to change.

I'm drawn towards a MK1 octavia VRS in black or silver as long as mr bank manager will let me have the funds. I've been around cars all my life and have a passion for anything on 4 wheels that can get me into trouble with my bosses but its always been french and in particular peugeot cars that have go me interested. But now I'm getting annoyed with their reliability or lack of and want something fom the VAG stable.

Aound a year ago I had a bit of a long test drive in an octavia VRS, well I say test drive I mean a 3 week responce course in works unmarked octavia VRS where we pushed the cars hard and I was extreamly impressed by their capabilites so much so that my short list of new cars just has the one name on it

Anyway I hope to sweet tlk the bank arrange the extra funds and become a regular on here. Be nice to me lol
