What tyres???

Featured Replies

I know it has been asked $hit loads of times before, but.....what is the best tyre to fit on the standard vRS 7" x 17" rims?

Toyo 888r's?

Your thoughts and prices please.

Also if anyone knows of a good place to buy them from, thanks.....the MOT is looming ever nearer!!!!!

T888 are basically cut slicks which will be excellent in the dry but crap when it gets to winter.

I've found Pirelli Rosso good as were Goodyear F1 GSD3...Rosso were quieter , F1 cheaper.

Pirelli PZero Nero are supposed to be very good.

Running Bridgestone RE050 on the RX-8.....very good in the dry...grip like buggery..apparently not so good in the wet.

Toyo T1R's or T1s's(If you can get them) are good ;)

Have a look HERE for prices!

Ive just bought 4 BFGoodrich tyres, they look good, not pushed them yet

Toyo T1S/R's are pretty good

Ive got 3s' and 1r on mine (dont ask!)

and they stick like you expect but they are soft wearing so think ill more than likely try some rosso's next
