Do you mean the angled deflector?

If you're talking about the angled deflector in the air intake in the slam panel - it's optional.

Supposed to be there to deflect water, but lots of people have removed it and smoothed the area without any probs.

I did mine btw...

Left mine in too.

Skoda wouldnt have put it there if it didnt serve a purpose.

When you think about how much water it would actually take to hydraulic a diesel engine... Id leave it in
