Featured Replies

i am having trouble with vodafone live

since getting my spanky new N95 i haven't had access to the live service, i can use my 3G connection and see briskoda/google/hotmail etc etc but i can't see vodafone live, tried all the settings they sent me and nothing, spent an hour on the phone to them and nothing

told me to go into a shop and let them wipe it clean and start again

anyone able to help out there?

sorry mate but my mum has just said to reset the phone (She works for a Vodafone service provider)

well that sucks balls, what about games and stuff i have already downloaded and paid for?

If Voda have an online settings wizard (which will send you the settings via SMS), then delete all the Voda settings for GPRS, MMS and 3G/internet.

Restart the phone. Then issue each ONE at a time. Read each SIM update, delete then reboot BEFORE doing the next.

right, can't delete the connection settings as they are protected

Have you tried a soft reset?

It's *#7780#

This will reset the phone, but retain settings. If that doesnt work, backup and do a hard reset. Only option left.

i would recommend dumping the vodafone firmware and getting a nice generic version (see N95 thread for details). can't they just text your MMS to your phone?

Bengie can't you back then up with the Nokia suite? I know i could when i had my P800

The problem is the customised vodafone software. Not only does it leave you with the extra vodafone stuff, but vodafone also remove some key functionality from the N95.

I updated to the nokia firmware from voda, i'd recommend it - they f*cked around with the phone something cronic

having said that though your voiding your warrenty in the process!
